"Israel's 60th Independence" is the most current web site with the most comprehensive database of information and activities honoring Israel’s upcoming 60th Independence celebrations. This dynamic new site (www.60israel.org.il) will be launched at the end of November 2007, and updated daily with an extensive variety of relevant content.
The database caters mainly to educational institutions, schools and organizations involved in education, welfare, culture, leisure and community services in Israel.
Concept
“Israel's 60th Independence" exposes a wide spectrum of content that promotes patriotism, encourages the study of national history and heritage, as well as the acquaintance with the values of Israeli society. This variety of information, activities and teaching materials relating to Israel’s 60th independence strengthens the bond with the Israeli homeland, and provides an inspiring insight into the related themes and course of events since the proclamation of the state of Israel and Israel today.

All site content is reviewed and evaluated by pedagogical advisers, according to specific educational criteria and standards. Only content found to be suitable for the education system and of relevance to Israel’s 60th Independence Day will be approved and posted to the site.
